From concept to completion

Working with you - The Process

Our approach to a project is to work closely with our clients from the outset, carefully navigating the process whilst making each step of the way as clear and concise as possible. This process is based on the official RIBA Plan of Works.

 

We will guide you through the whole project from its earliest stages. We can help you develop a brief, obtain planning approval, work out construction details, find a builder and check the quality of work on site. As well as providing all these very practical skills, we will also produce a design that will transform your space.

 

During our initial meetings we discuss the use and benefits of a broad range of materials and technologies critical in reducing the carbon footprint of the project whilst demonstrating both the financial benefit and impact on the planet during the lifespan of the building.

 

Once we understand the detail of the project we can advise our clients on the appointment of external consultants who are essential in making the project a success.

 

We like to keep our clients apprised of costs at all stages of the project and for this reason we recommend the appointment of a Quantity Surveyor to work with us from the outset for maximum transparency.

 

From an initial sketch we can determine the cost of the project that includes construction costs and consultants fees, this is important in establishing the clients parameters.

 

Once the budget has been determined we start the design process taking into consideration any limitations or constraints. We also source the best materials and fittings for the project, ensuring a successful outcome.
