Extension and Renovation
The client approached us to overhaul their home and garage. Their end of terrace house on the apex of the street was in need of a rethink. How best to reconfigure the space and generally update a tired exterior that ran parallel to the pavement.
The solution was to create a side return extension that seamlessly flowed into the existing rear extension and main house. This in turn would need to connect, in some way, to a new habitable space replacing the old garage.
We looked at the project as a whole and saw the benefit of combining brickwork and oak timber boards to create a really cohesive design. This project, from the main house across the boundary fence to the new garden house immediately benefitted from the contemporary application of the wood panels, whilst the interior was transformed, creating much needed space, light and flow.
