D'Soto Architects was founded in London in 1993 by José Cruzat who graduated in architecture from Kingston University.  The practice has since grown into a dynamic studio creating inspirational projects with sustainability at its core. Through its designs, it strives to find the perfect balance between comfort, practicality and beauty.

 

Our goal is not only to create stunning homes but to improve lives. Working mostly in the London area, but not exclusively, we have worked on projects as far afield as Japan and nearer to home in Ibiza and Sussex.

Sustainability is the core of all our projects, and our work conforms to the latest regulations. Creating buildings that use less energy is intrinsic to our work. We work with partners and collaborators who share the same vision as us to ensure the highest environmental standards are met across every project. We are RIBA Certified and members of Architects Declare (a network of architectural practices committed to addressing the climate and biodiversity emergency).

We work on new builds, where a blank canvas allows us to explore a site’s potential and heritage and historic buildings where we are thrilled to bring old buildings back to life. We have a deep understanding of the UK planning system, allowing us to work efficiently and effectively. We create spaces where longevity, quality and sustainability are built in.​
